      Description: The Racky Thomas Band has been a torchbearer for the blues since its formation in 1995, when Racky Thomas collaborated with bassist Todd Carson, guitarist Nick Adams, and drummer Ted Larkin to make a demo cd, and do some gigs around the Boston area. Thomas spent '96 and early '97 abroad before returning to Boston, with the intent of putting the band back together and taking another stab at cracking the blues scene.

      Description: Since 2007, New England-born singer/songwriter, Matthew Szlachetka, has served as frontman for The Northstar Session (www.thenorthstarsession.com) – an acclaimed Los Angeles-based roots-rock band.

      A multi-album artist, Szlachetka has busily recorded four albums over the past five years. As well, he has played more than 150 shows a year throughout the US with his blend of rock, blues, country and folk influences. Never satisfied with sitting still, in-between tours Szlachetka compiled a group of songs he will debut with his upcoming solo album, Waits For A Storm To Find, due in late 2013.
