The Mike Crandall Band has been playing throughout New England and beyond for the past 25 years. The band can be seen at many of New England’s premier blues clubs and festivals. The band is 3 time winner of Connecticut Blues Society blues challenge, in 2000, 2005, and 2008. The Mike Crandall Band also was the winner of the Boston Blues Challenge in 2009, and the Granite State Blues Challenge in 2014. The band has also made it to the finals in both 2000 and 2008 at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Tennessee. The band churns out crowd pleasing traditional blues, swing, jump and original music that wows crowds wherever they go. The band features Mike Crandall on vocals, who also blows greatness on diatonic and chromatic harmonicas. Hartford Connecticut’s Shawn Leonard is on guitar, and his powerful and soulful sounds are the backbone of the band.
