Red Loves Blue was founded by Luke DeRoy (Berklee College of Music) to express a harmony of Rock, Indie, Soul, and Hip-Hop. Influenced by classic artists from Sam Cooke to Led Zeppelin, to modern artists like D’angelo, Radiohead and John Mayer, Red Loves Blue creates something original out of the familiar. Through heartfelt songwriting, the band combines organic and synthesized sounds, fusing light and dark, heavy and soft. From dance party to gentle acoustic, the band harnesses this duality to create a endlessly entertaining experience. Neither the Red nor the Blue can exist without the other.
Joined by western mass all-stars Lucas Solórzano (Guitar, vox), Josh Hirst (bass) and lan haas (Drums), the four-piece band brings to the audience a full palette of sonic colors.
Having developed a chemistry together over the years, they are a refined, tight and versatile live act that always brings a fun yet emotional experience to a wide range of audiences. Sing and dance along with the soaring vocal harmonies and grooving rhythm section. Having performed at the Stone Church, The Drake, and Rockwood Music Hall, RED LOVES BLUE will always bring electricity to the show.
