The James Lawrence Band

The James Lawrence Band (JLB) has been around… in different forms… since 1979. JLB is NOT an average band! Led by James Lawrence on guitar and vocals… has hung out and jammed with some pretty big names including Springstein, Vaughn, Guy, Trucks, Betts, Montgomery just to name a few. James has been playing guitar and writing his own material since he was four!!! He has performed with numerous bands, including No Ego, W.B. Serious, Lawerence Taylor Project, Dyslexic Athiests, Destiny, and many others. James now operates Studio 307(river road productions) in Stafford, Ct. A small recording studio and indy label committed to developing local talent. Though a strong writer, James is also known to be a human juke box, known for playing requests. Kyle Shane (on drums) has been on the music scene for many years also. Best known for his searing guitar solos in such bands as Why Knot, The Blame, Perfekt Kaos, and Cats Dont Lie, Kyle has put down the guitar and picked up drumsticks for this project. His drumming is precise and very tasty, and his stage antics are legendary. People come to shows just to see what he’s going to do next. Josh Pierce (on Bass) adds tons of flavor to the band with his affinity towards the funkiest, thumpinest sound one has every heard. Josh has played with such bands as Super-High bouncy Balls, Play it Loud, and Dank Funk. He is very current in his taste for music, so he’s usually the one to initiate VERY current music into the live show. YES, a band that can play REQUESTS, and still remain cool.
